Hi Letterboxers, If any of you are into solar landsurveying you might find
this interesting.... we are expecting a partial solar eclipse on Christmas
Day ... hey maybe this would be a great chance to hide a letterbox in honor
of it.
We plan on taking sometime out from our festivities on Christmas morning
to view it ... this site tells you what time to expect the eclipse and how to
make a viewer.
Merry Christmas. :o)

NASA Science News for December 14, 2000

A solar eclipse is coming on Christmas Day, 2000. The winter landscape
across parts of North America will assume an eerie cast, and
cooler-than-usual winds might swirl, as the New Moon glides across the face
of the Yuletide Sun.

Mohmers, sounds like fun! As a new letterboxer last year I was
absolutely enthralled with Graham's eclipse letterbox in Dartmoor.
